Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos: Flexing Muscles to Hide Weak Knees

Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos is a military operation launched by Pakistan on 10th May 2025, in response to early morning Indian military strikes on a 4 Pakistan Air Force (PAF) military airbases, including missile attacks and drone incursions and drone incursions into Pakistani territory. Details of the operation remain uncertain, as information primarily stems from Pakistani-backed independent propaganda X (formerly Twitter) accounts and unverifiable news reports rather than official military or government statements.

The operation, named after a Quranic term meaning “a solid structure,” targeted key Indian military installations, including the BrahMos missile storage facility in Beas and airbases in Udhampur and Pathankot. During the 3rd Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) briefing headed by foreign secretary Vikram Misri Read along with Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force, refuted Pakistan’s claim of attacking BrahMos storage site in Jammu.

The defence authorities said that there are no damages to Indian military assets and firmly dismissed Pakistan’s false claims along with reassurances about the strength of India’s military infrastructure to the international community.
