Eligibility/Qualifications: PhD in disciplines within business & management studies and gainfully employed as Assistant Professor or similar full-time role in teaching capacity at any recognised University/College

The Phadke Journals is a pioneering open-access collection of journals, born from a vision to create an inclusive and authoritative platform for research and analysis across range of disciplines. Established initially to elevate scholarship in international relations, with a special focus on defence/strategic studies, The Phadke Journals is evolving to address the growing demand for accessible, high-quality research across diverse academic fields.

The Phadke Journals (subsidiary of The Viyug) is registered as Proprietor (Sole) with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India (GoI) bearing the registration number UDYAM-TN-26-0041512.

About the Journal

The Phadke Journals is expanding by commissioning a new journal for business and management studies titled “The Viyug Business Journal (VBJ)“. The newly commissioned journal aims to foster critical, empirical and theoretical contributions to the field of business by creating a credible and inclusive academic platform that supports researchers, business executives, entrepreneurs and scholars/students. The journal also aims to become a leading Indian centric open-access academic journal in business and management studies.

About the Post (Collaboration Request)

The organisation is looking for those eligible who are ready to collaborate with us for this academic project with possible long-term commitments. As an editorial board member/reviewer, the post holder will;

  • Review incoming submissions and provide apt feedback
  • Help define the journal’s academic scope and direction
  • Assist the publisher with assignments such as ISSN, Scopus and other indexing services
  • Promote the journal within their academic and professional networks
  • Contribute editorial, commentaries or special issue proposals (optional)

Scope of the Journal

The Viyug Business Journal (VBJ) aims to publish original research articles/essays, conceptual papers, case studies and reviews in areas including but not limited to;

  • International Business, Marketing & Consumer Behaviour
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Organisational Behaviour
  • Digital Business and E-commerce

  • Sustainability, CSR and ESG in Business

Editorial and Review Model

The journal will maintain the highest standards of peer review and academic integrity. The editorial and review model will include;

  • Double-blind peer review process
  • Editorial Board: Comprising 5-10 distinguished PhD scholars (holders) and experts in field.
  • Review Timeline: Aim to provide first feedback within 7 days and every 3 days thereafter (if necessary)
  • Ethical Guidelines: COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards will be adopted

Publishing Model (tentative)

  • Publishing Frequency: Bi-monthly (Once in every 2 months) – 6 issues per year with each issue exploring different themes and sub-disciplines.
  • Publishing Format: Website (Online) complimented with Print edition
  • Journal Type: Open Access (OA)
